WHO ARE THE BOOSTERS?

We all are! The Boosters are led by a group of volunteer board members who work with David Becker to support the CHS Theatre Program. We rely on families, students, alumni, and other interested parties to volunteer and to provide financial assistance.

HOW CAN I HELP?

​ Join the Board! Help organize and sign up for Tech Week meals! Provide snacks! Run the concession table at performances! Promote upcoming performances! Place an ad in the programs! Donate - time and money are both needed! Know or own a local business? Ask how they can help. And so much more!

WHAT DO THE BOOSTERS DO?

We provide support as needed:
  • ​Organize snacks and meals for tech weeks.
  • Fund extra learning opportunities (guest visitors, trips, etc.).
  • Purchase props / costumes / tech / scripts.
  • Sell concessions at performances.
  • Solicit donations from local businesses and individuals.
  • Provide scholarships for students to attend workshops & conferences.
  • Sell ads for the playbills.
  • Promote and advertise the shows.
  • Organize and order t-shirts for cast and crew.
  • And more!

Theatre Boosters are an
integral part of the
​CHS Theatre Program
The theatreCHS Boosters (TCB) is a 501(c)(3) organization operated exclusively to support Charlottesville High School’s Theatre Department. We are parent volunteers working together with student thespians to raise funds for CHS’s award-winning drama program.

TheatreCHS depends upon your support to make these productions possible. They aim to engage and inspire students and open doors to new opportunities for all students. The Theatre Department aspires to be accessible and equitable for all.
